If you check the "stay logged in" checkbox, you won't have to sign in each time you come back when on this computer. Instead, you will be automatically logged in and taken directly to the schedule. The "stay logged in" feature lasts approximately thirty days (or until you either click the "Log Out" button or clear your browser's cookies).

Additionally, simply refreshing your window will log you in if you are timed out of the system after a period of inactivity. This means, for example, that you can go to the "Control Panel," walk away from your computer for a few hours, and simply click "refresh" when returning to begin working with the control panel again.

If you use a shared or public computer (such as in a computer lab or library), you should not check the "stay logged in" checkbox.

When booking an appointment kindly use your formal name which appears on your U of A record. Please do not use nicknames, middle names or name abbreviations.

Please make sure to bring your OneCard or another form of valid photo identification to verify your identity. Personal information cannot be discussed without photo identification in an advising session.

**REMINDER** THE '10 MINUTE' RULE: Please be advised that if you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, regardless of reason, your time slot will be given to another student who may be waiting for an open (albeit truncated) advising appointment in your place.

CANCELLING OR RESCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT: Please cancel or reschedule your appointment online before your appointment time to free up the time slot for other students. Missed appointments are marked as ‘no-shows’ and users who miss two scheduled appointments will be restricted to drop-in advising only. To reschedule your appointment book another available time slot online.
